I entered a number of knitted items into the local fair. I received a purple ribbon on the little jumper I made for my granddaughter in August - plus blue ribbons on the rest of the articles I entered.
Fall has arrived here in Montana - there was frost on the pumpkins this morning. Everyone is busy gathering in their produce in. I am busy knitting felted slippers. I just finished my sweater that I started the last week in August. I also have to finish my prayer afghan too. Hope everyone enjoys the fall weather.

No pictures for today

Went and seen Landon and Kaleb - they were wore out from a week at the lake and the heat =
Doug went out on the boat with a friend this morning with the boys and was swinging on a rope that was tied to a tree branch over the water and smacked the tree with his thigh - Charissa says it is really bruised and a lot of road rash - and he is too stuborn to go to the emergency room with it. Kaleb might come out next weekend as Doug and Charissa have to work the fair Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the Wrestling club -

there is a 27 oz gold nugget in the safe between the boys. Austin would not smile in the picture with the Lady of the Rockies. Well that is all the pictures for today - I am still learning the camera - Austing and Holter are a big help when it comes to taking pictures, they know all about the camera and the cell phone also more that I do. Same with the computer, but I am learning more right along. Hope this finds Justin feeling better and not is as much pain - He is in my prayers 24 hours a day -

Here is something to cheer you a little bit - Hope the surgery went well and Justin is doing good. Everythingis going to be okay - I have faith in prayers and the Lord. I will post Friday night after going to the Lady of the Rockies. Austin and I are planning on going to White Sandy where Doug and Charissa and the kids are camped on Saturday and there is no cell service there.

Update of Easter weekend

Took time off from work to spend with my grandchildren and a good time. It was cold and nasty every day except for Easter and it was a bright sunny day. My daughter sent me a package today a sweater of hers to finish for her - so will get that done in the next week or two - Almost finished a baby afghan over the long weekend. Next weekend, I will probably go to Celtic knitting and to the wrestling tournament - by grandsons are wrestling.

Package come UPS

Got a wonderful package from my daughter in WA - I now have enough yarn to finish the baby afghan I am making out of Smarty Pants yarn plus a whole lot more. So I have my knitting cut for the next couple of months - maybe will crochet a couple of them. She also sent me some DVD to watch while I knit.

Tote exchange

Off to mail my tote that I made - weather nice this a.m., but the roads are a sheet of ice - they look like glass in your headlights. I off to pick up my grandchildren this p.m. for the weekend and a trip to Billings, should be fun.
